So *thats* what that means

So I'm looking at my blog and trying to figure out why so many pictures show up. My philosophy on my main page is that I want enough posts to show that someone that follows regularly will see everything new (versus it being archived before they see it), but not so much stuff that a ton is downloaded every time.

So I'm a bit concerned with the current size of my main page. Everything is there. Nothing has archived. I check my settings and it is set to 7 days. So there should only be one week (that seems reasonable). But I've had this blog for more than a week. Help shows:
Note: "N Days" actually means N Days with posts, so the number of posts displayed could potentially date back farther than the number of days you've specified. (if you miss a day of posting, for example)
Ah... that explains it. I think I'll just leave it at 7 days. Just need to post every day. ;-)

This is Belle's favorite place to dig. Maybe once there are more plants she won't dig so much? May get some fencing to put around it. Thats the last of the "before" pictures. Posted by Hello

The backyard. The biggest project. Added the red bark last year, to cover all the sand. Still filling in with thistles, but they come up pretty easy from the bark. Shouldn't take too long to remove them, then its just a matter of picking them as they come back. Just transplanted 4 sets of Aspens from the side yard. We'll see how well they survive. Looking a little shocked right now. And need to do some work in the planters. Removing the old growth, adding some flowering plants to fill it in, etc. Posted by Hello

A few "zoo flowers", a columbine, and a few others. Posted by Hello

And this needs the most work. The only one that has daffodils - althought they are done flowering now. Posted by Hello

Needs a few more flowers. Posted by Hello

Memorial Day weekend. Working in the yard. These are the before pictures of the planters in the front. One of them has filled in from last years flower. The others not so much. We'll add some new flowers to fill them out. Posted by Hello

NFMW: They mowed the greenbelt. The purple flowers have been mowed and are gone. These little flowers are short enough that they escaped the mowing. At least there is some color left. Posted by Hello

I believe these are a kind of wild rose. Planted along the side of a house down the street. The color is really cool. I'll try and get a better close up on another day... although I find I'm feeling weird about invading people's yards too much to take pictures... Posted by Hello

NFMW: Spring holds on:
Birds twirping, sun glistening off the dew, the smell of bacon frying in the air, and the wildflowers are trying to hold out against summer. There are a number of these along my walk. They are starting to drop their blossoms as summer moves in. Posted by Hello

NFMW: What a beautiful day. 55 degrees, sun shining, trees budding out, clouds whisping off the Peak. A great morning to be out walking, praying, singing to The Lord. Posted by Hello

So... I think my profile is showing up too dark, and it could be a tighter shot. So I editted the picture and reposted it here. But now I can't get blogger to upload the picture. Wrong format or too big. (Which the other one is larger and the same format). I'l assume it is some blogger issue and try to repost later.Posted by Hello

Not your ordinary Creme Brulee. In hotel in Tulsa during Jim Richard's leadership conference. Posted by Hello

My attempt at art. Much of the early photos I saw from Heather Champ were close-ups like this. These are in our hotel room, up against the mirror, in Tulsa. Posted by Hello
